Chairman Jon Cleereman Called the meeting to order on 8/11/25 @ 6pm.
Jon asked the minutes to be read from July’s meeting. Minutes were approved by Jon and seconded by Daniel.
First item on the agenda was road maintenance. Chris Piton stated all the gravel in the pit had been used up. The Double Bend from Steve Karas to cc camp had been graveled. Mike Albrecht hauled 71 loads out @ 15yds /load. Also the 100 miler did brush all the town road’s shoulders. He scheduled the town roads to be graded again in Mid Sept by Jake Starr if weather permits and before the leaves fall. Jon wants the 2 lake roads to have all the gravel from the shoulders pulled in at least 2 feet scraped then regrade the road. He doesn’t care if there is grass in dirt pulled in. Chris would talk to Jake Starr about it.
2nd item is county and town ordinances for having farm animals such as chickens in town. Complaint have been made regarding Heidi Uran’s animals getting out specifically her chickens. Board asked for her to have a fence put up within 30 days. Heidi agreed to do so.
3rd item on the agenda was Veterans memorial board to have additions or corrections made. Jon ask to have this item on the agenda for 2 months. Jon asked if Suzanne could bring corrections to the next meeting.
4th item was the corner lot. Town as no current plans for the lot at this time. Jon said to have any residents with ideas to bring them to the meeting or mention to a board member and we will take it into consideration.
Mail Correspondence was a contract from Northwood LP for locking the town in at $1.49/gal for the 2025-2026 heating season
